What we do is far less significant than who we are. Personally, I am particularly concentrated on a few things in life:1. RelationshipsRelationships with family, friends, colleagues and even random strangers is what gets me excited about life every day. In a world saturated with social media and digital friendships, I strive to form and build meaningful relationships with real people everyday. I don't want anymore Facebook friends, I have enough. I want to get to know people and invest in their lives' everyday while allowing them to pour into me as well. 2. Taking Down the "Goliaths"There is a story in the Bible about a small boy who stood up in the most adverse conditions of his time to answer his calling to defeat a giant. Though giants today may not be the same as David faced, I do enjoy spending time working towards things that some may think isn't possible. I strive to be an example to show that when we answer whatever calling is placed on our lives', incredible results are possible.3. Learning Something EverydayHigher education is wonderful and I was blessed to have that experience, but if my learning stopped there then I wasted my time. I strive to become a well-rounded person with an education that doesn't stop at the door of a classroom, but is pervasive in everything that I do. Much was learned through a formal education, but most things must be self-taught through adversity, failure and personal experience.
