Hello my name is Landon Hughes and I am student in Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. I'm the type of person who will adapt daily to level the playing field when it comes to answering a burning question. I won’t back down at the first sight of adversity as when it comes to reaching my goals, as I believe the only thing standing in my way is myself. Critically thinking to ensure that I arrive at a solution to a problem my curious personality landed me in is something that I believe will not only benefit me but help those around me. Knowing this about myself, I find that I work best in an environment where I will be allowed to absorb the knowledge of those around me. Through extensive research or analysis of potential issues, I find that I could provide insight into future issues that may arrive with the current method of solving a problem and highlight ways we as a team can improve and adapt to reach a solution quicker. By working occasionally on individual tasks only to then bring those solutions or newfound methods to a group-oriented project, I feel as if I could be a crucial part of something bigger than the individuals making it up.
