Fourth Grade Teacher
CurrentI am humbled and excited to begin my journey as a fourth grade teacher at Shepherd Community Academy. I believe God used my two years with 1st grade at Forest Glen School of Spanish Immersion to prepare me for stepping into this new position in a new place. This is a unique school where majority of students are from immigrant families (92% from Spanish speaking only homes) and all students are on scholarship. The educational experience of most children in such economically disadvantaged zip codes rarely equips students for life. Shepherd’s strong focus on using education and mentorship as means of breaking cycles of generational poverty reflects God’s heart so clearly. Please pray for me and my students in this journey. Here’s to shepherding souls toward experiencing Truth.
