I'm the lead product counsel for all generative AI experiences across two of Intuit's flagship products: QuickBooks and Mailchimp. I work across the Intuit platform to drive compelling and compliant generative AI experiences for small and mid-sized businesses and consumers.I’m a leader within Intuit’s Responsible AI program across the platform and portfolio of companies. In this role I drive company-wide strategy while partnering closely with individual business units and technology teams, providing counsel on product development and launches. Key results include leading the cross-functional development of Intuit’s company-wide Responsible AI model review program.I also serve as the lead product counsel for Intuit for Education, Intuit's free financial literacy platform designed to help high school students use real-world tools to build confidence in handling their finances. Finally, I'm lead product counsel for Intuit's R&D division, where I'm responsible for counseling teams exploring cutting-edge innovations.Previously, I led Intuit's legal team for all digital assets and web3 products and services. In this cross-functional role I worked with teams across the company to develop compliant products and services in the crypto-economy. I also served as the legal business partner to Intuit's Crypto Center of Excellence, contributing to company-wide strategy, policy positions, and customer-focused business-friendly outcomes.

As Lime's Head of Legal, I drove every legal aspect of Lime's unprecedented domestic and international growth from 50 markets in the US to over 100 markets in the US, EMEA, APAC, and LatAm. Counseling all business units cross-functionally, I provided practical business-focused advice on a wide range of topics including data privacy, local regulations, market-specific product requirements, and local consumer protection laws. I crafted business-friendly processes in the legal department which allowed our teams to scale across markets globally.I managed our $335 million Series C round led by GV, with other notable investors including Alphabet, Andreessen Horowitz, and Uber. I counseled our C Suite and Board throughout, and supervised law firms across the US and Asia to complete the round. Additionally, I led negotiations on commercial transactions totaling in the hundreds of millions of dollars, including Lime’s industry leading integration deals with Uber and Google Maps, and counseled Lime’s business units on Lime’s global IP portfolio.I managed litigation globally across the US, EMEA, LatAm, and APAC. From bet-the-company class actions, to complex civil litigations, to intricate regulatory and intellectual property matters, and a global claims portfolio, I developed close working relationships with my internal clients to enable business units to manage risk appropriately without interfering with efficient business operations.I pioneered a multinational insurance program and led the procurement, development, and management of Lime's insurance, risk management, and claims programs globally. Areas of expertise include insurance products for micro-mobility and on demand economies, technology companies, as well as traditional risk transfer strategies.

Recruited to found the San Diego office of a Los Angeles based boutique, I helped build a thriving practice serving clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. In just a few years, I grew the firm’s tech-focused transactional practice over 35%, serving clients in San Diego’s thriving start-up and bio-tech scene.Building on years of handling complex litigation at leading firms, I utilized my deep knowledge and experience to advise clients on the potential pitfalls of deals, crafting negotiation strategies to help clients peer around corners as transactions developed.I formed hundreds of companies, counseling founders and key stakeholders on best practices in the first few years of the company lifecycle, from initial corporate filings to early financing rounds to intellectual property planning, development, and protection.The dual insight of founder and counselor allowed me to resolve challenges by analyzing issues as both an attorney and businessperson. This experience informs my ability to provide practical business-focused legal advice to cross-functional teams in demanding corporate environments.

Recruited to serve as the lead senior associate on the trial team that represented a public Fortune 500 company in a $500 million litigation. I managed a team of associates where we reviewed, analyzed, and prepared millions of trial exhibits, drafted and opposed dozens of motions, and drafted hundreds of witness outlines. With a projected year-long trial, I participated in dozens of court appearances, was responsible for leading the drafting on countless substantive motions, and led my team through a six week jury selection process that ultimately concluded with a settlement on the eve of trial.

Immediately after graduating law school I joined the leading Los Angeles firm, Glaser Weil. Initially responsible for preparing for and appearing at trials, arbitrations, mediations, and court appearances, I advanced to defend dozens of depositions, drafted and argued countless motions, and I managed large scale discovery reviews and productions, with an emphasis on technology and e-discovery. I obtained experience at trial as a first, second, and third chair on numerous trials and arbitrations, having the opportunity to work with and learn from many well-respected attorneys at a firm known for taking cases to trial.

I had the privilege of working for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson, training directly with Judge Pregerson and his law clerks. While working for Judge Pregerson, I gained experience on a wide variety of issues, including complex Constitutional issues, securities, large scale corporate transactions, class actions, and employment, with a specific focus on trial procedure and preparation.
