I'm driven to create and cultivate in all areas of my life. In my personal life, that means gardening, baking, brewing, book-making, painting, and most importantly, parenting. In my professional life it initially meant technology and product development. Now it means building start-ups, commercial platforms, product/corporate strategies, networks, relationships, new markets, and new customer experiences.Moving to the commercial side has allowed me to address a particularly vexing problem many technology-based start-ups experience: translating a technology to a product, and that product into a business. My experience in established businesses has taught me to balance entrepreneurial spirit and speed with defined processes and planning efforts; this approach tends to be where I add the most value. In my career I’ve been lucky enough to work with an incredible diversity of people from all over the world, with an amazing array of personal and professional backgrounds. In all these experiences I’ve tried my best to learn from each of them in order to enrich myself and those I work alongside moving forward. I see every engagement and interaction as an opportunity to learn, share, and educate.
