As a Senior Tax Analyst at Chevron, I have over 15 years of experience in managing and advising on various indirect tax matters, such as sales and use tax, excise tax, motor vehicle fuel tax, city business tax, state income/franchise tax, tax credits, tax incentives, and unclaimed property. Currently am responsible for overseeing Chevron's IRS audit, ensuring compliance with IRS deadlines, and maintaining a positive relationship with the IRS. I also support tax transfer pricing studies, working with the Global Transfer Pricing Coordinator and Tax Counsel to update documentation and computations needed to evaluate and conclude if Chevron is charging arm's length pricing to its foreign affiliates. Additionally, I partner with the Tax Accounting team quarterly to discuss whether reserve updates are needed based on changing tax laws and regulations. My mission is to provide technical tax leadership and business partnership to Chevron's operating companies and finance teams, and to minimize tax exposure and risk.
