With her vast trial experience, Laura Andrade is prepared to represent individuals who have been through the most difficult experiences imaginable. Laura worked as an assistant district attorney for five years where she was entrusted to handle complex felony offenses, many of which were resolved with jury trial. After almost two years’ experience exclusively prosecuting and presenting grave cases of physical and sexual child abuse to juries, Laura is uniquely skilled in carefully guiding victims through an intimidating process, and securing successful verdicts in challenging factual scenarios. Prior to joining Witherite Law Group, Laura worked as a criminal defense attorney for a year after her time at the district attorney’s office. In this role, she gained experience representing clients who had been wrongly accused of serious offenses. Experience in advocating on both sides of a system has provided Laura with a well-rounded set of advocacy skills. Laura’s desire to continue advocating for individuals who have been unjustly hurt drives her interest in pursuing cases against companies or corporations that are trying to avoid accountability. As a trial attorney, she is experienced with jury selection, arguing in front of a jury, and obtaining favorable verdicts.
