The ABA TaskForce began by two Board Certified Behavior Analysts who decided that not enough was happening within our industry and the world to Change Behavior of racism, inequity, and inclusion. Reimagining the science of human behavior, Landria and Vanessa wrote a blog post as a call to colleagues. This vision soon developed into a Task Force. Our goal is to partner with colleagues within and outside of Behavior Science, Community and Local Organizations (public and private) to eradicate social injustice using data, planning, and implementation.

Momentum Autism Therapy Services provides ABA Therapy, Speech and Occupational Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling and Support. Momentum is comprised of the Momentum Therapy Partner Network which is a network of therapy practices globally focused on ABA Therapy and related services. Our therapy network supports the infrastructure and clinical excellence intended to serve families. Families can now access services with a trusted provider from a global framework benefiting international families and military families. Providers can work in collaboration with our leadership in providing best fit services using a collaborative model and cost benefit to their practice reimbursement, supply distribution and more.

Business Operations-Developed clinical therapy manual, administrative operations procedures inclusive of billing process manual. Appointed and responsible for administrative staff inclusive of human resources personnel and administrative staff. Reviewed written business materials including presentations prepared by staff.Process Improvement-Analyzed and problem solved strategies for waste mitigation, improvement in revenue cycle, patient satisfaction, as well as increasing on boarding and recruitment of new patients. Created process’ for paperwork inclusive of online for reporting of staff productivity as well as reduction of staff documentation (unbillable) time.Clinical Operations-Created synergistic process of data collection across ABA and Speech therapy services. Created evaluation templates and data sheet templates to improve quality assurance across therapy services within and across disciplines. Utilized EMR system to document communication from parent to provider. Created 100 page therapy process training guide for new hires. Created training guide for new clinical staff and ongoing professional development education guide for current staff.Supervision/Mentorship-Empowered lead clinical staff to utilize 1:1 and small group meetings for case management as well as supervision of staff in best practices in the implementation of services. Technology including Skype utilized by supervisors to observe sessions and provide verbal feedback. Created metric system for staff observation (i.e. Interobserver Agreement) as part of staff incentive, feedback in performance, etc.Contract Negotiations and Billing-Private pay, state contract, and third party insurance contract billing. Secured contracts inclusive of RFPs to local agencies for the provision of center based, staffing, and home based services.

Developed new programs in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Communication, Literacy, and Assistive Technology including Augmentative Communication. Created quality assurance methods in training and data collection for Speech-Language Pathologists, Learning Behavior Specialists, ABA Therapists, BCBAS. Trained school teams across the country in the area of Building Capacity in Applied Behavior Analysis in school settings, provided home programming, traveled across the country providing professional development seminars and workshops in Social Communication and Social Behavior. Invited guest speaker for Bridgeport Public Schools, Scarsdale Schools, Shelton Public Schools, Ann Arbor Public Schools and Wayne County Speech Hearing Association, and Oxford Public Schools. Trained psychologists and school personnel introducing to testing tools for autism including the ADOS. Developed Keep The Conversation Going, BEEHave (inclusion training for learners), and Quality Assurance guide in Applied Behavior Analysis in a center based setting. Collaborated with Alfred Green in creating CROSSTRAIN training modules (online distance learning) for therapists.

Performed Augmentative Communication and Assistive Technology Evaluations and Training. Sought after Independent Evaluator in AAC and AT. Provided training in the latest technology including enhancing literacy skills using AT to children who were nonverbal. Integrated curriculum and learning strands with active use of Assistive Technology. Provided insight in program development in the use of AAC systems for children with autism and other developmental or acquired disabilities while integrating AAC systems in Verbal Behavior programs (ABA).
