While pursuing my J.D. at OU Law, I have developed lifetime relationships, increased my legal acumen, and finished as a quarter-finalist in the 1L Moot Court competition and the Whitten Burrage negotiations competition. Before graduating Summa Cum Laude from UT Tyler, I served as Student Government President after previously serving as Chief of Staff and Vice President. In this capacity I also represented UT Tyler on a system level at the University of Texas System Student Advisory Council (UTSSAC), advocating for solutions to issues most pressing to the respective UT institutions and students. In addition, I was named a UT Tyler Rose Scholar after a competitive interview process, where I represented my institution in the Tyler community in various events, namely the Rose Festival. Academically, I was awarded the prestigious Smyrl History Scholarship for academic execellence in the History department. As a student leader I have been very active in pursuing initiatives to bolster student cross-collaboration, increase school pride, disseminate pressing information, raise awareness to important safety and accessibility concerns, and advocate for an increase in micro-credential offerings that result in more job offerings and higher wages for Patriot graduates. As an individual, I’m looking to work for a company that fosters a culture of personal responsibility, leadership, and communication.
