As a lifelong, voracious reader, I knew I one day wanted to work with books.I completed my bachelor's degree in publishing from Belmont University in 2021 with an editorial concentration and a public relations minor. With the guidance of my incredible professors, I graduated magna cum laude and was even accepted to Belmont University's College of Law.Professionally, my first opportunity was with rights management for an independent publisher based in Nashville, Tennessee. I learned how to communicate effectively with people all over the globe, negotiating contracts and bringing in upwards of $27k a month in revenue.I was able to land my dream position at a hybrid publisher also based in Nashville. Here, I've been able to expand my editorial knowledge and work on a multitude of titles across several different genres alongside authors such as Chris Tomlin. To be a small part of someone's author journey and to share their work with the world is such a gift and I'm grateful to be able to do it every day.
