About Lane Black
Hi there! I have always had an interest in how the world works and how we can continue to create things that matter - being the first to adopt new technology, trying (mad) science experiments, and generally being passionate about continuous learning. I've had a unique journey through academia and business that has allowed me to gain different perspectives and explore different opportunities in order to expand the way I view the world. One thing that has been consistent is the power of data and how to craft a story around what the data is telling us.My goal, in any role I'm in, is to utilize my background in order to create excellent user experiences and moments that matter while also supporting key initiatives and leveraging data to inform decisions. I am passionate about letting the users drive the roadmap of products based on their behaviors, voice, and needs - using these data points to drive conversations within and across teams. Most recently, I worked as a UX Researcher at Meta where I led research for a suite of performance products that MetaMates use to set business goals, provide peer feedback, and showcase what they have accomplished during evaluation cycles. Currently, I'm searching for my next exciting opportunity!In my personal life I am an avid traveler, musician, and festival lover.
