• WCF – Assisted product team in enhancing existing WCF services. Also assisted the QA automation team in writing applications and test cases to test the WCF web service methods.• C# - Enhanced existing test framework to use XSD schema based C# objects for loading and exporting test cases for the WCF web methods.• WPF – Assisted the QA automation team with writing applications to load large numbers of “customers” into a customized Microsoft CRM product in order to run test scenarios. Designed and built a WPF application to build test customers using a template to assigned fixed and random values for the various customer entities in CRM. The application would then export the generated customers to an XML file to be consumed by a custom CRM loading application. Also added functionality to import customers from an Excel spreadsheet.• C# - Tasked with inheriting a command line TCP/IP socket server used to route messages between two back-end clients and a 3rd party front-facing application. I was able to optimize the code and merge it into a Windows Service application.

• MSMQ – Redesigned and developed middle office settlement processes using Windows Services to one that utilized Microsoft message queues. Each queue in the workflow has a WCF service hosted in IIS that processes its messages.• ASP.net – Assumed responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the company’s account management application. This application is an ASP.net 4.5 web app using WCF services for data retrieval and updates. Since taking over this application I have added new functionality including creating a new MSMQ and Windows Service solution to synchronize account data with the accounting application.• Silverlight – Designed and developed a Silverlight 5 out of browser application that provided several tools for use by the middle office group to monitor and manage trade transactions from entry into the trading system through settlement. Tools included snapshot view of current and historical trading activity, UI for viewing and manually matching DTC confirmations with trades, UI for tracking SWIFT message acknowledgements, UI for tracking failed trades, claims, and SPO/Fedwire charges. Responsible for database table and stored procedure design, user interface / XAML design and styling, business logic design, WCF web services design and coding all parts of the application. Utilized the Model, View, View Model (MVVM) design pattern in conjunction with PRISM (Microsoft Patterns and Practices Framework) to separate the UI, business and database layers.• Windows Services – Developed several Windows services to extract trade information from the Oracle backend of the trading platform and format it into an XML-based batch file to send to a third party for SWIFT formatting. Services would process return acknowledgement files to keep track of messages sent.• WCF Web Services – Designed and developed several WCF web services to be consumed by Silverlight and ASP.Net applications.

• Silverlight 3/4 – Designed and developed a Silverlight 3/4 out of browser application to provide non-developer resources a tool used to create “conversions”. These conversions are used to transform a proprietary XML feed into a typesetting language used by an automated composition work flow to render financial reports into PDF format. Responsible for database table and stored procedure design, user interface / XAML design and styling, business logic design, WCF web services design and involved with coding all parts of the application. Utilized the Model, View, View Model (MVVM) design pattern to separate the UI, business and database layers.• SharePoint 2003/2007 – Developed several client-facing web parts for a custom financial content management system developed by Bowne. Designed and developed several utility programs used to manage, migrate and update SharePoint sites and sub-sites using the SharePoint object model.

* SharePoint 2007 - Worked on a number of SharePoint projects for clients. Tasks included: SharePoint configuration, designing site collection hierarchy, creating custom workflows, developing custom activities for use in SharePoint Designer, developing InfoPath forms to be used in SharePoint workflows and giving seminars on Business Intelligence capabilities of SharePoint 2007.ASP.Net - Worked on a number of ASP.Net applications for clients. Tasks included: Analyzing business requirements, documenting design of proposed solution, managing client communication through the development stages of the application, working with client through user acceptance testing phase, documenting hardware requirements for proposed solutions and deploying finished applications.Custom Applications - Designed, developed and implemented several custom applications for clients to meet their business requirements. These applications ranged from simple console executables used for application management to Windows services that facilitated communication between various systems. Support - Provided clients with software and hardware support for new and previously existing applications and systems.
