I’m passionate about how products can speak to the user. A well-designed product tells a story about the integrity of the brand, but more importantly, it tells the user how it can enhance their life. The right product at the right time can make a huge difference in everyday life. That’s the way the AeroPress coffee brewer is for me. It’s that connection between product and user that I chase after.My passion for design was honed and educated at the International Center for Creativity. Two years and over sixty credit hours were spent in a hands-on studio environment. During that time, I:• Coordinated and led a team of students to develop two innovative solutions for a major quick-service food chain, and presented the solutions to executive management.• Developed a final concept outsole design for a work-focussed footwear company.• Led design for one of three vehicle concepts and interpreted the design into a scale-model.
