Lane joined Argosy in 2015 and is responsible for evaluating potential investments, performing due diligence, and working with portfolio companies to grow shareholder value. He has significant experience in the middle market, closing more than 30 acquisitions and associated capital raises since 2002. Prior to joining Argosy, Lane founded Cordam Group and was also a partner with CS Capital Partners. Both firms are early stage private equity investment firms, where he led all aspects of private equity sourcing, diligence and portfolio company engagement. Prior to joining CS Capital Partners, Lane was a Director with CD Ventures, a Philadelphia based private investment firm. Lane began his finance career as an investment banker in the Defense, Aerospace, and Technical Services (“DATS”) Group at Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo where he focused on M&A advisory and public offerings. Prior to banking, Lane’s early career included operational, engineering and managerial roles with Rockwell International. He also held operational/engineering positions at Cooper Industries and Cummins Engine. Lane earned an undergraduate degree from Clemson University in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland where he was a Lamone Scholar.Lane currently dreams of breaking a land speed record at Bonneville.
