About Laneece J.

I grew up in small town Baldwin City, Kansas. I raised my six children, and I decided it was time for a career but didn't know what I really wanted to do. In 2006 I interviewed for Independence Incorporated for the Administrative Assistant. After working there only a short while I knew this is where I wanted to be. The atmosphere is amazing the people are wonderful and I love going to work. I have had more opportunities working at Independence Inc. then I ever thought would be possible. I am working on my 16th year and still feels like I just started. I was hired as an Administrative Assistant on November 15, 2006, with in a year I interviewed and was offered the Targeted Case Managers position. This was my dream position, but was disolved by a former governor. I then interviewed and was offered my current position as Transportation Manager. I manage 4 drivers and we work well as a team providing transportation to our individuals in our county.
