With over ten years of work experience in BSA compliance and fraud prevention, I am a First Vice President/BSA Officer at West Bank, a community bank serving customers and communities in Iowa and Minnesota. I hold the Certified AML Fraud Professional (CAFP) credential from the American Bankers Association, which demonstrates my knowledge and skills in anti-money laundering and fraud detection and prevention. As a BSA Officer, I oversee the bank's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, ensuring that the bank meets the highest standards of integrity and accountability. I am apart of a compliance team who monitor, investigate, and report suspicious activities, and provide training and guidance to staff and management on BSA/AML policies and procedures. I contribute to the development and implementation of the bank's BSA compliance program and risk assessment, and perform audits and reviews of the bank's transactions and records. I am passionate about protecting the bank and its customers from financial crimes and risks, and I strive to stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the field.
