CurrentMy twin sister (Yevette) and I (Lanette), alias "The Twinkies", are born and bred Texans. Thru all of our journies, we have ended up living our dream by homesteading next to each other in East Texas. While I was fighting breast cancer, Yevette promised not to leave my side and did everything she could think of to keep my spirits up. One day, she bundled me up and set me outside in a lounge chair and told me we were going to "play". She had gathered woodland items from the homestead, items from "junking", small flowering ground covers and let me pick items I liked and created a small fairy garden. When she looked at me and saw the biggest smile she had seen after so many weeks of pain and suffering, she knew what needed to be done. We decided that kind of medicine had to be shared with others. Hence...Whimsical Gardens of Canton came to be.
