Lane has counseled a wide array of clients in the healthcare, technology, sports, and financial services sectors, from multimillion-dollar corporations to corporate whistleblowers.No stranger to high-stakes litigation, Lane helped secure a $48 million settlement in a qui tam suit against a large hospital system, obtained a favorable judgement following the bench trial of Fortune 1000 CEO who violated her noncompete, defended FDA-regulated vendors accused of securities fraud, and represented the NFL’s no. 1 running back in a high-profile union spat. He also obtained the dismissal of a federal healthcare fraud indictment due to prosecutorial misconduct, and won summary judgment on behalf of a plaintiff in a real estate dispute, effectively ending litigation and procuring a significant sum for his client. Lane began his legal career clerking for the Hon. Jorge A. Solis, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.He then did a brief stint in Washington, D.C. at a boutique law and lobbying firm advising trade associations and organizations – including “Fuel up to Play 60,” the youth wellness campaign endorsed by the First Lady – on regulatory compliance. Eventually, he made his way back to Dallas, practicing at Winston & Strawn and Bradley Arant Boult Cummings before joining the tenacious team at Rogge Dunn. Lane earned his J.D., with honors, from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. He earned his B.S. from Texas A&M University.
