I graduated from Clemson University in December if 2019 with a B.S. in Recreational Therapy and minor in Psychology. I have experience working with adults diagnosed with alcohol and drug use disorders in an inpatient mental health care setting, individuals diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disorders, youth mental and behavioral health, and long-term care. I have experience with and a passion for adaptive sports. I am a certified Chair One Fitness Instructor, thus allowing me to provide low-intensity or high-intensity chair-based workouts to individuals with limited mobility or limited access to fitness equipment. My long-term goal is to own and operate an inclusive gymnastics program that offers classes and competitive teams for all. I am currently the Adjunctive Therapy Coordinator at the Adolescent Campus of Skyland Trail in Atlanta, GA where I oversee Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Horticulture Therapy, and Fitness programs. I help design, implement, and evaluate therapeutic recreation programming for adolescents experiencing mental health crises.
