In this role, I managed various financial processes, including accounts payable, grants, donations, and payments, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to financial regulations. Additionally, I was responsible for preparing monthly bank and investment account reconciliations and documenting journal entries for the month and quarter-end close processes, contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.Beyond daily responsibilities, I actively supported special projects, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist in various capacities. In this position I was responsible for taking good care of my guests and tending to their needs. I had to accurately write down and put in their orders and bring up everything in a timely manner.In this role I also was responsible for dealing with hundreds of dollars in transactions and serving up to 50 guests at a given time. While also making sure that everything was clean and put away. This job taught me firstly people skills and being able to accommodate the guests' needs and being able to handle all sorts of situations and feedback. In my position as a server at Olive Garden I was rated top 10% in the company for my guest satisfaction rate while also being given promotions to hire and train other employees.
