My background largely consists of work within the retail sector with a focus on working in the petroleum industry. More recently, I have shifted into project management within the construction industry. My time in the retail sector has allowed me to develop and grow my interpersonal skills. The change from retail to construction was a huge learning curve for me, but in the short time I have been working I have gained an immense amount of knowledge.In my professional life, I have always been able to get on with everyone I work with. I have never had poor relationships with my co-workers or my managers. A personal quality that I have been told I have is that I am a good listener. In my time as a retail operations manager, my team always appreciated when I took the time to listen to any problems they had (and worked to resolve them).
