This internship has given me more insight into customer service and time management. As either an assistant to the bride, or a reception set up assistant, it is important that the couple's needs and expectations are met. A normal day might include meeting the bride at her hotel, directing and organizing the bridal party for pictures, traveling to the ceremony location, setting up the reception, and making sure the bride and groom don't see any bumps in the road for their day.

During this internship, I shadowed the Director of Marketing in a professional real estate office. A normal day's work might include updating the listings board, filing new paperwork, and reporting to the Manager any discrepancies between the online and paper documents. My supervisor would then give me my tasks for the day, which might be designing a promotional flyer in Canva, making a presentation for the office owner in Prezi, posting job listings on Indeed or ZipRecruiter, or cold calling potential clients or new agents.
