Assisting the funeral directors and funeral associates to process legal documents, set appointments, greet families and help to ensure the office runs smoothly. Order supplies. Contact families to obtain obituary information, payment and pick-up of items after their loved one has been in our care. Provide paid in full statements to law firms. On a monthly basis, pay North Carolina cremation tax and North Carolina Sales and Use tax. Create video tributes, service bulletins and memorial folders for families. Run monthly outstanding accounts receivable reports and help to resolve outstanding balances due. Set appointments for those who desire to pre-plan their final disposition. Prepare folders for the pre-planning meetings.
