Developed my supervisory, technical logging, and field based skills by working on high profile jobs across the UK, as seen below. I was responsible for enforcing any and all H&S, quality, and environmental policies are followed by operatives on site, as set in place by the company or client specifications.A selection of relevant projects:Lower Thames Crossing Package D Phase 3-I acted as a logging engineer/technician at the Lower Thames Crossing logging compound in Thurrock, Essex. My duties included the preparation and photography of the core to a high standard, logging of soil and rock to BS5930, taking environmental and Class 1 samples from core, coordinating sample collections, performing in-situ tests, and the creation of detailed geotechnical logs.Following my time logging, I acted as a borehole instillation monitor for the entire Phase 3 package, working from the Codham Hall compound. These duties included the purging and developing of boreholes using bailers, wasp pumps, or waterra tubing, environmental water sampling using low flow, the installation and retrieval of Diver data, variable head tests, and gas monitoring and PID. HS2 - Phase 1 (Curzon Street Station and Route Improvements)-Worked on two different sections of the HS2 project, acting as a logging engineer for the Curzon Street Expansion, providing information on the subsurface to help reroute the sewage system which was to be used in the station. The second part was were I acted as primary engineer with Ramboll and Balfour Beaty, planning and communicating with the client to facilitate the smooth running of the primary ground investigation.Welford Retaining Wall, Leicester-The primary engineer working on the rail, I ensured safe practices were followed while keeping in line with PTS regulations and the COSS' specifications. The project required the logging and sampling of inspection pits and window samples, to find the boundary between made ground and the local mudstone beneath.

Working in the store front I helped customers with inquiries, maintenance of stock, and working at the till. In the back of the shop my main role was to independently pick, sort, and pack orders in of up to £15,000. Other tasks I took on included taking and placing orders from multinational companies, unpacking any deliveries, contacting book suppliers, keeping the store and displays presentable, and counting up the money taken in at the end of day.
