Before I came aboard, they had several unique brands crammed into one website. I split their website into two branded Magento-based e-commerce websites (Kestrelinstruments.com and NKsports.com), allowing each to focus on their core customers. In the first year alone after I implemented this change, sales broke records for all brands. Through acquisitions or further product expansions, the number of websites has grown significantly and profitably.Though I didn’t write them, every branded blog post is passed to me to ensure consistency with coding and feel. I layout the pages ensuring the proper use of SEO techniques like header tags, URL, meta title and description tags, properly optimized photos, and other on-page SEO techniques. I also proofread each post or page content one final time and make changes for optimal readability. For almost all of the 40+ years that the company has existed, it has relied mostly on dealers to sell the products that Neilsen-Kellerman produces. The company is now ready and very willing to take on a direct-to-consumer sales strategy thanks to the new websites and the Amazon pages that I established. I have focused on customer experiences while building the SEO behind the scenes to increase sales, build the brands, and increase customer satisfaction. -

From internationally touring rock bands, to local restaurants, no site was too large or too small. The sites started off as custom PHP and MySQL based sites with custom admin sections to update the text throughout the site. Then, I discovered WordPress, and that is what I developed sites with from then on. I customized plugins when necessary to accomplish the goals that the clients requested and created graphics and manipulated photos to look great within their site. I no longer build sites under this company but have switched all website design to BuzzTown Marketing.

I was originally brought on board to design, build, and maintain a new E-Commerce website for this publisher of Children’s reading books. While there, I also became the I.T. guy (In the valley of the blind, the one-eyed man is king, right?), solving server problems, fixing computers, and setting up networks. The website that I built was a completely custom, PHP and MySQL driven website with a full custom backend to easily update and add new products, change descriptions, and help with customer service problems. I implemented strong SEO and the online sales grew immediately by over 100%. Year over year, the online sales grew, and the percentage of new customers also grew year over year.I built several websites while at Wilbooks, including one for a Non-Profit company that helped to spread literacy throughout the country. Again, like the last one, online sales for the non-profit sister company of Wilbooks grew quickly, year over year and new customers also grew every year.

My role was a programmer and developer that worked mostly with PHP and Oracle to develop, grow, and maintain both the public facing website and the internal site that transferred the money. While at PayQuik, I worked with the customer service team to tackle any issues that customers where having and solved problems in the internal software.
