About Andreas Lange
I am Andy Lange, founder of Oceans Project, Marine Protection. I started scuba diving in 1986 and was fortunate enough to have been on many exploration trips and filming expeditions to Australia, South-East Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, the South Pacific, Antarctica and Russia, working as a freelance underwater cameraman. During this time I worked for tourist boards, TV broadcasters, travel agencies and liveaboard operaters.After an 11 year stint in the corporate world it is time to get back to nature. It’s time for me to make an impact on marine conservation and protection. From 2020 to 2023 I will head a circumnavigation sailing expedition and will do as much as I can to bring positive environmental changes, together with the local communities we're visiting along the way.There are plenty of ways for you to help. You can be part of the crew, helping to do all the groundwork. You can book trips for certain legs of the expedition and your trip “donations” go directly towards supporting the Oceans Project platform and the projects. You could support us also by just subscribing to our YouTube channel and watching our episodes. This will generate ad-revenue for the platform. If you feel generous you could also donate through PayPal. At a later stage, propably Autumn 2020 there will also be the option to sign up as a Patreon.
