I am passionate about promoting engineering career in young people. I have been a STEM ambassador for many years and have been involved in delivering career talks, mentoring students or school projects and supporting school events.

I am responsible for business development, staff development, recruitment and long-term resource planning as well as leading structural design on large and small projects from conception to construction in a multi-discipline environment. I also work as principal designer on projects. I am registered SCE with ICE and looking after graduates under training scheme.

I was part of the team to set up a structural team in a brand new London office. I was responsible for business development and bid submission, recruitment, setting up quality standards, staff training and financial control on projects.

I led the structural design within a multi-discipline environment. I worked on large scale commercial and school projects in both UK and Dubai.

I was responsible for delivering the structural and civil design on large education, residential and healthcare projects from feasibility to construction stages working in Skanska’s in-house design team using BIM approach. I was mentoring graduate engineers and technicians on their professional development.

I primarily worked on education, healthcare and custodial projects in the public sector and built good relationship with repeated clients. I also worked as a site-based project manager for the client on a prison refurbishment project.
