I successfully led a large team of product owners, business analysts, developers and programme managers. We implemented Adobe Experience Manager, consolidating a number of existing content management systems and significantly reducing costs to the business.I wrote the business case for the implementation of Adobe Experience Manager and gained multiple senior level stakeholder signoffs. This was a complex £10m+ programme of work taking 3+ years and the successful delivery of it has been the highlight of my time at Barclays (I was involved in two previous less successful CMS projects and always I said I could do it better myself...!)Upon completion of the main deliverables of the AEM programme I made the decision to move roles and took on the challenge of delivering a new and improved Online Banking platform.

I established the front end web development function (business side) in 2009 which dealt with small and medium-sized change on barclays.co.uk and other retail banking websites. I also established a strong working relationship between Barclays Digital, IT Security, Middleware and various 3rd parties. Both of these initiatives resulted in a significant reduction in costs and a significant increase in the speed to market of development work.In 2010 I set up an agile ring-fenced team dealing with development work relating to our FatWire CMS. Release planning, prioritisation and testing processes were all implemented to increase the speed of delivery of server-side development work.
