Corporate Legal (Maybe remove or replace?)As a member of CSA Group’s Science & Engineering Leadership Team, I effectively manage and provide adequate day-to-day responsiveness to incidents involving CSA-marked products, I support stakeholder & regulatory inquiries, and I lead and co-ordinate investigations undertaken by a global team of Managers responsible for Mark Integrity Investigations. I provide services to the Corporate Division in a global matrix structure for the independent investigation of internal issues and provision of crisis management.

Science & Engineering Leadership TeamAs a member of CSA Group’s Science & Engineering Leadership Team, I effectively manage and provide adequate day-to-day responsiveness to incidents involving CSA-marked products, I support stakeholder & regulatory inquiries, and I lead and co-ordinate investigations undertaken by a global team of Managers responsible for Mark Integrity Investigations. I provide services to the Corporate Division in a global matrix structure for the independent investigation of internal issues and provision of crisis management.

Legal & Risk ManagementThe team objectives and responsibilities include:• Ensure the integrity of the CSA registered mark is maintained and protected. • Manage the investigation of reported incidents involving CSA Group’s certified products and services for the purpose of protecting the integrity and credibility of CSA Group. • Ensure the effective and efficient resolution of legal and technical issues received by CSA worldwide, particularly with respect to incidents involving injuries, electrocutions, fires, property damage and/or fatalities. • Ensure the credibility of CSA’s intellectual property and trademarks. • Provide services to the Corporate Division for the independent investigation of internal issues and provision of crisis management. • Ensure the effective and efficient resolution of technical complaints and assist with legal complaints concerning certified products received by CSA worldwide, particularly with respect to incidents involving injuries, large losses and/or fatalities. • Provide expert guidance and investigation services on matters of potential risk to the organization, both corporate and employee related. • Advance the profile of CSA and develop relationships at both the senior government and regulatory levels. • Develops business plan and operating for the Mark Integrity Team and manages activities to be within established budgeted parameters. • Maintain financial control over specific projects by preparing cost estimates and controlling the budget and expenditures related to those projects.• Responsible for maintaining overall costs within budget while adhering to corporate financial policies. • Identify and implement any corrective actions required to achieve the business plan and budget objectives. • Prepare confidential reports of findings for senior management.• Provide direction and leadership to full time and part-time/contract Mark Integrity Team members.

Legal & Risk ManagementEffectively manage a wide spectrum of reported incidents involving CSA Group’s certified products and services for the purpose of protecting the integrity and credibility of CSA Group. Ensure the effective and efficient resolution of legal and technical issues received by CSA worldwide, particularly with respect to incidents involving injuries, electrocutions, fires, property damage and/or fatalities. Ensure the credibility of CSA’s intellectual property and trademarks.

Investigation of all fire incidents involving CSA certified products in an effort to protect the integrity of the CSA mark and to implement changes to CSA and International standards in an effort to prevent a recurrence. Report directly to the Director of Audits and Investigations.
