The place I find myself enjoying my work is the communication between two things. Whether it’s an ios application pinging to a serial port, transferring data between an API into a database, or constructing methods and pipelines for data analysis, the inner workings of complex tasks was always my interest. My state of nirvana is finally seeing that console message that you’ve been expecting. Through both work and school I’ve narrowed this interest down into backend development (CSS and JS frameworks make me sick) and APIs. I’ve been working with a lot of Python and Javascript but have also worked with Java, C#, and Swift in application development. All of these languages in one way or many allowed me to hone communication methods between services, applications, and hardware for safe and reliable results.
