About Paul Elwood

Paul Elwood has been working in the translation and language services provider business for more than 25 years at all possible levels, from your basic diploma to IMAX movies, subtitles, medical videos, online press junkets, U.S. Federal, state and city government programs, product packaging, web development and localization. As part of doing business, he has personally done casting and talent direction for countless of on-camera hosts, produced a score of web sites and managed languages beyond the average requests which include Navajo for Social Security Administration, Malay for Telekom Malaysia, Russian for the World Health Organization and Ilokano for the 2004 Presidential Election kiosks in Hawaii. Paul Elwood is fully bilingual, being born in Mexico City to an American father and a Mexican mother. He resided in Los Angeles, California for the past 14 years where he keeps an office, but currently resides in Barcelona, Spain from where he launched the Language Department’s European branch six years ago.
