As sales professionals, we are often engaged in a unique effort of taking care of the best interest of our respected accounts and the best interest of the company we serve and represent them both simultaneously in order to to ensure continued growth and perseverance As a local sales rep, I am responsible for -Planning and organizing my daily work schedule to call on existing or potential accounts. -Adjusting content of sales presentations as it relates to a particular accounts needs. -Maintaining a professional and technical knowledge of my industry. -Monitoring competition by gathering current information on pricing, equipment available, service areas, etc. -Recommending changes in service, and policy by evaluating account needs. -Resolving account complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions and making recommendations to management. -Establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. -Researching and providing records on area and customer sales. -Contributes to team effort by performing operations or safety duties as needed.
