I have extensive experience in IP and commercial litigation and dispute resolution involving China. My areas of expertise include trademark, copyright, unfair competition, trade secrets, domain name, patent, compliance, data protection, anti-trust litigation as well as contractual disputes. Prior to my private practice, I served as a judge of the Shanghai High People’s Court for 12 years. I used to lead cross-border litigations, enforcement actions, and dozens of civil and administrative IP litigations with a focus on China at a top international law firm. Through my judicial experience as a judge in China, as well as my prior experience at the leading international law firm in the U.S. and China, I have extensive experience working with western and Chinese companies, by providing the high-quality legal services to clients in the areas of IP and commercial litigation and dispute resolution. I have also developed special skills as a “facilitator” and cultural legal bridge between US and Chinese clients concerning the dynamics and operation of the U.S and Chinese legal system.Recently, I have been extensively involved in IP litigation in federal court here in the United States, primarily dealing with cases filed in the Northern District of Illinois. These cases involve copyright, trademark and patent claims.
