As a postdoctoral researcher at Erasmus MC, I apply my skills and knowledge in single cell sequencing, RNAseq analysis, and cell biology to study the bone marrow niche and its role in leukemia progression and treatment responses. I have been working on this project for over four years, and have contributed to several publications in the field of onco-hematology.My research mission is to uncover the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive cancer development, and to identify potential targets for diagnosis and therapy. I have a strong background in molecular biology, with a master's degree from Leiden University and a PhD from the same institution, where I investigated the underlying mechanisms driving prostate cancer metastasis. I am passionate about advancing the scientific understanding of cancer and improving the lives of patients.
