1. IT Designs - Develop and enhance, complex, multiple-discipline IT, System and software - Prepares alternative computing solution analysis - Develops and prioritises alternative project tasks - Prepares technical proposals and associated cost evaluations - Website design and maintenance 2. Resources Management - Ensures most efficient use of IT Resources - Identifies and oversees capital and staff resources - Influences short and long terms companywide computing system plans 3. Technical Development - Set standards and improve major computing systems and software development processes - Improves effectiveness and quality of IT systems and development processes - Evaluates customers and company’s IT systems support and requirements - Develops, represents and influences the adoptions of new and emerging complex information technologies. 4. Planning - Plans and oversees organizational implementations of new and emerging computing/IT technologies. 5. Training/Presentations - Provides necessary teaming for system and software users, software designers, suppliers and technologies support staff. - Makes presentations to customers and suppliers - Presents papers to standard organisations and technical societies. 6. Others - Responsible for ensuring all departments are provided with high quality system technical supports. - Setting up of system software, grant and maintain access rights and backup data - Provide support for ERP system, customer management system, etc 7. Data Protections - Evolves processes and procedures and maintains them to ensure the security and integrity of data companywide

- Manage the day to day administration of the department.- Manage the realization of all the work of the department in the shortest possible time.- Ensure timely and correct realization of the departmental Overhead and Investment budgets.- Ensure control of the ITD store.- Develop a plan for staff training.- Manage staff work and leave schedule.- Ensure that all ITD activities are documented.- Organize periodic briefing of the hierarchy on ITD activities.- Make proposals on needed improvements in ITD.- Launch projects for such improvements, if they are approved and ensure that they are done to standard and at minimal cost.- Ensures that ITD maintains its 5S step as well as makes efforts to go to the next step.- Ensures the general cleanliness of the department.- Briefs the staff when necessary to intimate them on the goings on in the company.- Ensures that users’ needs are attended to within the shortest possible time.- Raising and Release/Signs ITD PRs online.- Conduct periodic evaluation of the staff as will be required.- Ensures strict adherence to the company’s IT code of ethics and policies by all users.- Ensures that all the necessary IT Policies are formulated and put in place.- Ensures that all IT resources (Network, E-mail, Servers, Internet, Telephone, SAP, etc) are available to users always.- Oversees all jobs by contractors in ITD.- Ensures that working tools are available and used properly.- Ensures strict adherence to the company’s safety standard in ITD activities.- Ensures that users’ needs are attended to within the shortest possible time.- Supervises all jobs by contractors in the Department.- As well as, carrying out the tasks of the System Administrator and the SAP Basis Officer. Etc.

- Downloading Software for Servers’ and users’ usage- Downloading and distribution of Antivirus across the Network- Creating and maintaining Email and Internet Servers.- Setting up Email and Internet Access on users systems- Configuration of systems, installation of programs and repair/maintenance of users Computers. Providing users support services- Generation of Reports as may be required and production of manuals for systems/users.- Installation of Servers and SAP Applications and management/maintenance- Providing Disaster Recovery operations and Backing up of Applications and Databases
