About Lansana Mansaray

I was the Republic of Sierra Leone's former Delegate for Young People to the UN Global Youth Leadership Summit Series. Furthermore, I have worked to promote the empowerment of young people in Sierra Leone and throughout Africa as a main beneficiary of the Joint UNDP/UNESCO Project Foundation for Africa Future Leadership Program. Additionally, as a lobbyist working across the diaspora, I aim to persuade legislators and policy makers to launch initiatives that empower women and youth to realize their full potential and, in doing so, contribute to the (SDG) 2030 eradication of poverty. I also received the UN Excellency Award.
