Founder, Visionary, And CmoLanz Founded Match Made in Therapy in 2022 with the intention of helping people around the world find the best mental health resources. A vision for a world full of sound minds. After struggling with her mental health and being diagnosed with a mental health illness that “couldn’t be healed” in 2018, she wanted to do everything she could to help others by providing them with tools that could help manage their diagnosis. In 2023, Lanz had an encounter with Jesus and a revelation that there is hope and that healing is possible in the presence of God. After a hard season and time away, God redefined the vision for Match Made in Therapy. The vision is still the same; we just know how to actually attain it, and we believe the only way to true healing is Jesus. God is the one who has not given us a spirit of fear but of POWER, LOVE, and a SOUND MIND. Therapy is a tool; Jesus is the healer. In 2024, God put it on Lanz’s heart to rebrand the nonprofit as a mental health prayer and healing ministry. We believe that prayer is an essential tool in order to receive true healing. That the Holy Spirit is an integral part of that process. We are called to create a space for those desiring a faith-filled community to have it. To provide a safe space for those struggling with their mental health, letting them know there is hope and helping them hold strong to their faith as we all war for our mental health. We believe that through prayer, community, tools, and, most importantly, Jesus, we will set the captives free and enable a revival as the world wakes up to the truth and receives the freedom that God has provided through Christ Jesus. You can belong before you believe this community is for all people. Healing is accessible, and hope is not lost. Join us as we see our vision of a world full of sound minds come to fruition through Jesus Christ.
