As Chief of Staff for The Anti-Boring Project, I support the creation of products and strategies that help people get shit done.In practice, this looks like a lot of different things—but maintaining a culture of compassion, creativity, and understanding is at the core of all of them. Prior to joining ABP, my career focused primarily on philanthropic and academic work, whether through non-profits or community science communication initiatives—places where those ideals of compassion, creativity, and understanding permeated the fabric of the organization. I have long believed that the most important part of a forward-thinking, successful endeavor is the continual creation of engaging, thought-provoking work that serves a benevolent purpose…and I’m proud to know that those beliefs are also at the core of everything we do at The Anti-Boring Project. My future goals with ABP include continuing the development of online spaces that not only help connect Neurodiverse individuals to like-minded support communities, but also provide those communities with novel resources and strategies that will help them succeed in every part of their lives. In addition, I hope to expand these communities one day to also to provide representation, advocacy, and support to individuals with invisible disabilities, including those such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, Narcolepsy, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome—all of which are conditions I manage and live with personally. On a more recreational note: Most of my hobbies center around D&D, dice, and many thousands of very shiny pieces of cardboard for a game called Magic: The Gathering...though I branch out into painting, horseback riding, hiking, knitting, and some other fun things here and there. If our mission, our values, or even one of those hobbies strikes a chord with you, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to talk with you and learn more.
