My career has been characterized by a long journey of over two decades, a deep dive, and total immersion in the automotive sector in Latin America. It has been described by multifaceted marketing, advertising, and sales expertise with particular orientations toward digital, media strategy, customer experience, social media, AI and product management (telematics, electric vehicle (EV) pricing, and forecasting).With Nissan, I have had the pleasure of working for almost a decade, leading the marketing communications of Nissan Mexico. I launched the first electric passenger vehicle to connect across four countries in Latin America and, years later, introduced e-POWER technology, democratizing EVs, marking a significant milestone towards innovation in the automotive industry. In the context of a pandemic, I led my team in executing an unprecedented communication campaign for the Nissan Kicks in Brazil, including the first show made by a Latin American automotive brand with drones and the launch of a new SUV version with an NFT. We sold more than 100 units at the event.During my work at Nissan, its efforts were marked by more than 15 advertising prizes, including nine prestigious Effies. Before joining Nissan, I set the foundation for experience with General Motors Venezuela directly after obtaining my University Degrees.One of the most recognizable achievements during my 11-year tenure was the innovative 7,000 HUMMER SUVs pre-sold in just one week in 2008—a groundbreaking online initiative, the first of its kind in the country. After my impactful years at GM, I embraced the challenge of start-up culture in Brazil. I worked with Ituran to launch the OnStar brand and introduce Telematics services in that market. It was an exciting task, 15 years behind the Andean countries in this item. This experience further honed my ability to innovate and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions.My career is a storyline of innovation and significant milestones.
