Quantum Apparel Cambodia (Pvt) Ltd, a manufacturing facility of inQube in Cambodia. Quantum Apparel Cambodia (QAC) is an intimate apparel manufacturing facility. As the country manager, I was responsible for the P&L and expected to do the initial turnaround of the business as a newly acquired business of inQube.

Developed a model and involving in Lean implementation in Walmart Global Sourcing Bangladesh vender base. Reporting to Director – Manufacturing.Developed the model for involving suppliers/ vendors in continuous improvement journey focusing on achieving the best quality, lowest cost and shortest lead-time. Aligned the lean philosophy to the “Everyday Low Price” strategy of Walmart• Developed the lean curriculum for Walmart to train vendors on lean. Develop KPIs and measuring mechanisms of the project to achieve a win – win situation for Walmart as well as for vendors.•Selected pilot factories from the vendor base in Bangladash, worked with all levels from top management to team members, in educating guiding and coaching in the lean journey and guided through lean process• The success and the achievements of the lean implementation pilot project was the base for global “Manufacturing Excellence Project” initiated by Walmart Global Sourcing. I was a part of the initial team of four members.

I was trained and certified in lean from Total System Development (USA) & David Freni Inc. (USA). I was a member in the central lean implementation team of MAS Holdings. In MAS it is a team effort to create a lean enterprise. Central team is guiding and supporting SBUs of MAS in Lean implementation, which I was a part of. Furthermore, I was a part of MAS Holdings lean calibration, which assesses the level of achievement in lean for each SBU in MAS and develop guidance for next level - Lean Training & Development Model for MAS - Lean Curriculum development of MAS.

MAS Linea Aqua (Pvt) Ltd is a leading swimwear manufacturer for the USA and European market.Entrusted as an Industrial Engineer in Industrial Engineering Department & Was Reporting to the IE Manager.Was responsible for establishing SMvs for operations using GSD, preparing machine layouts for optimum utilization of resources, planning line feeding, designing work place layouts, designing and installing attachments, carryout work measurement activities in order to minimize non productive acts and maximize efficiency and productivity.April 2005, Promoted as a Senior Industrial Engineer overlooking a production section with three IEs. Was reporting to the IE ManagerAugust 2005, entrusted as a Senior Production Executive. is reporting to the Assistant Production manager.

Manufactures ladies’ briefs for Victoria’s Secret Stores, USA.Joined in January 2001, entrusted as Work-Study Executive in the Work-Study Department.Was reporting to the Plant Manager and, was responsible for functions of the department.Worked on projects, to enhance factory layout, to cut costs and to improve productivity. (Examples: Cut to Ship Ratio improvement project, Team Goals Project)

Horana, (Now Quantum Clothing (Pvt) Ltd.), a British garment-manufacturing firm, which is producing underwear for Marks & Spencer.Was reporting to the Industrial Engineering Manager, and responsible for the functions of IE department.Worked on projects, to improve factory layout and productivity. (Examples: Designed factory office layout, Designed and installed all racking system in the stores, Designed the layout for cutting room and fabric warehouse, improved the capacity of the cutting room by increasing the efficiency.)
