Oversee and execute the purchasing for Palm Beach County Housing Authority. Review and process requisitions and purchase orders for purchases to include a variety of frequently used supplies, materials and services. Control inventory levels and work with Asset Managers to create a functional direct ship system to reduce on-hand inventory. Prepare, review, process and award bids for large scale purchases; to include preparing specifications, coordinating and conducting pre-bid and bid hearings, preparing advertisement, securing phone quotes, and maintain files on all written quotation and formal invitations to bid per established state, and local laws and HUD mandated policies. Develop relationships with vendors and contractors, resolve any vendor issues.

Scheduled and coordinated meetings, appointment, and travel arrangements for supervisors and Board. Assist the Chief Operating Officer with daily operational functions. Maintain utmost discretion when dealing with sensitive topics. Prepared leyters, memos, forms, documents, and reports. Perform light maintenance on office equipment and stock central office copier with paper. Purchased and maintained office supplies inventory and carefully to adhere to budgeting practices. Recorded, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings. Obtain signature for financial documentation. Oversee receptionist area, including green visitors and responding to incoming calls. Answer general questions and Advising clients regarding Housing Authority services. Responsible for creating requisitions for purchases made by central office.
