I am a communication major concentrating in public relations in the Honors College at the University of Maryland. My studies focus on communication in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, professional writing in various settings, and employee and stakeholder relationship management. Through my communication roles and academic career thus far, I have had the opportunity to write content for healthcare including professional outreach, newsletters, articles, and communication plans. Overall, I believe that my dedication and tenacity are fueled by the guidance of my selfless communications mentors and role models. Additionally, participating in the University Honors program through the UMD Honors College has shown me what it means to be in a place of leadership for large organizations. I believe that these skills are integral to my academic journey and will ultimately aid me in pursuing a career in healthcare communications.
