Our purpose and passion is to support SMEs in raising the bar, by embedding social values and wellbeing into their business, for the benefit of everyone. In 2021, The HM Treasury wrote ‘Guidelines to wellbeing in business,’ outlining specific awardable dimensions of how a business can demonstrate its wellbeing policy for its employees. These guidelines clearly demonstrate the government's firm commitment, to ensure the wellbeing of the working people of England. The ‘Social Value and Wellbeing’ (SVW) Act 2024 is the English Government’s commitment to embed social values and wellbeing at the heart of all English businesses. It transforms the government’s procurement process, by levelling-up the business playing field, in giving all progressive English SMEs, access to tender for £100 billion of government contracts. 'Social Value and Wellbeing’, is the government’s framework, for scoring a business’s level of compliance with the specific, mandatory, social value and wellbeing standards and requirements. Most businesses may find themselves falling short of the government's wellbeing criteria, and unsure how to proceed. This is a great opportunity for forward looking businesses to secure their future in an ethical and people-focussed way, by including the government's new standards for integrating wellbeing into businesses, with their specific metrics to measure the impact on your people. At SVRE we believe in sharing our knowledge and expertise, collaborating to harness everyone's potential, and passing it on to make it sustainable.
