My name is Lara Daniel and I am a soon to be college graduate from Sam Houston State University. I will be graduating this coming May of 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a minor in wildlife management. I am looking for a position in the livestock field or the wildlife management field so that I can apply my degree to my future career. I am looking to work in a field that I love and that I can further my knowledge in. I have extensive hands on knowledge with livestock and white tail fawns from working with animals before college and during my college time. I worked with cattle for the past eight years, interned at an equine vet clinic for my senior year of high school, and worked with white tail and red deer for the past year. My top two dream jobs are to work at a high fence ranch where I can learn all the different aspects of working with multiple breeds of deer. Or to work in a well-established cattle breeding operation where I can learn more within a necessary part of the of the livestock industry. It is my dream to one day make a difference within either the livestock industry or wildlife management industry, or maybe even both industries.
