This was a fantastic opportunity for me to really showcase my skills and attributes that I have constantly built upon since working for Mr & Mrs Smith. While in New York I had frequent site visits to the hotels featured in our collection. I attended meetings with General Managers on behalf of Mr & Mrs Smith, primarily discussing the best ways to promote the hotels as well as how best to leverage the Mr & Mrs Smith brand in America- a lucrative market for the company to exploit. I also travelled to Miami and Portland for site visits and business meetings to gain a more detailed insight into the hotels and the American market place, as well as to build strong business relationships with management teams.Being the main support role for the travel team was a new and challenging role which expanded my skillset and gave me the opportunity to take on extra responsibilities.
