I am passionate about leveraging scientific research to inform policy and advocacy efforts, particularly for children and women exposed to trauma. With over four years of experience in neurobiological and psychological research, I have gained a deep understanding of the molecular mechanisms behind neuroinflammatory diseases like Alzheimer's Disease. Currently, I am completing my doctoral thesis in collaboration with the Cluster of Excellence NeuroCure and the Institute for Medical Psychology at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, where we study the long-term effects of early life adversity.My future endeavors aim to bridge the gap between cutting-edge scientific research and impactful policy-making. By translating complex scientific findings into actionable policies, I hope to improve support systems and interventions that promote somatic wellness, cognitive health, and healthy aging, particularly of the brain. I am committed to advocating for evidence-based practices that mitigate the risks of multifarious conditions associated with early life stress.
