Lara Katherine Miller is an American writer, professional spiritual director, Catholic lay moral theologian, and former seminary professor of psychology. Her graduate education is from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. She is the executive director and founder of Theology Of the Soul Psychology Institute (TOS) and currently works both as a psychologist in Mexico and as a professional counselor in the United States. In 2001, Miller began developing and practicing her approaches of True Psychology and Lasting Healing Psychology (LHP Method), which she formally wrote and taught in Spanish while adjunct Professor of Psychology at the San José Obrero Seminary, Diocese de Ciudad Altamirano, México, México beginning in 2016. Along with seeing clients virtually from both the US and Mexico, Miller has traveled between the US and Mexico teaching True Psychology and Lasting Healing Psychology method and charism in both English and Spanish in the form of workshops, seminars, Lenten missions, and retreats titled 10 Steps to Lasting Healing©, as well as offering guest lectures both virtually and in person. Miller is in the process of formatting her work into a series of handbooks to be published in various languages for the healing of all emotional suffering and trauma, psychological struggles and disorders, including addictions, disordered attractions and gender confusion.
