I have over 20 years of experience as an administrative assistant, working in both academic and corporate environments. I have developed and demonstrated strong competencies in project management, coordination, strategic planning, and communication. I am proficient in various software applications, databases, and filing systems, and I have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Most recently, I worked as an assistant to the chair and staff supervisor at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where I coordinated and managed various academic and faculty affairs projects for 80+ faculty members. I also supervised and delegated administrative support to the staff, facilitated special projects and initiatives, and handled complex and extensive calendars, travel arrangements, agendas, and correspondence. Previously, I worked as an executive administrative assistant at Big Lots Stores, where I supported two vice presidents, two directors, and five regional managers. I planned and coordinated all aspects of national conventions and regional meetings, sourced vendors and acquired bids, and created and monitored various reports and spreadsheets.I am looking for new opportunities to leverage my skills and experience as an administrative assistant in a dynamic and challenging organization.
