Free a Girl USA rescues minors from sexual exploitation. We have rescued 7700 minors worldwide to date. We help survivors to achieve justice by tracking down the perpetrators and tackling impunity. When they’ve had time to heal, Free a Girl empowers the girls to become awareness-raising watchdogs and change agents in their communities through our School for Justice program. We prevent sexual exploitation from happening by tackling the root causes such as cultural norms, by working from a survivor centered and bottum-up approach to change systems from within. Free a Girl USA is a separate entity from the other Free a Girl entities. As director for FG USA, I am also involved with Free a Girl Global as fundraising entity and protection of the brand Free a Girl.
