I support research and operations for the RAD Network, a growing network of Indigenous leaders, Knowledge Carriers, Guardians and allies working toward a shared vision for decolonized and regenerative Indigenous-led conservation. While currently focusing on research and knowledge mobilization, I also support network engagement, event coordination, governance and communications.

Currently working with HPNET as a research partner, contributing to desktop research and report writing. Previously supported the launch of HPNET’s “SEEED Accelerator” initiative for hydro mini-grid sustainability and impact, providing project management and thematic content support with a focus on socio-environmental aspects and Indigenous Peoples. Co-anchored multi-actor capacity building, exchange events, and virtual trainings.

As a contractor for WWF-Canada, I worked with the Science, Knowledge and Innovation Team to coordinate and conduct outreach to Indigenous Nations and communities to explore potential partnerships and share research and resources. Concurrently, WWF-Canada supported my time as a contractor for the Restore, Assert and Defend Network (RAD), in line with the RAD Network's 'braided contribution' model.

Completed a second Mitacs Accelerate internship unit to advance knowledge mobilization, following prior collaborative community engagement work. Co-authored and anchored a paper submission to FACETS , entitled “Rooting Natural Climate Solutions in Wahkohtowin through Indigenous Guardianship: Insights from a Youth-led Initiative in Northern Ontario, Canada" (anticipated pubication Feb. 2024).

In connection with my Master's research at the University of Guelph, I facilitated collaborative research in partnership with Wahkohtowin Development GP Inc. to explore and advance opportunities for Indigenous-led natural climate solutions. As a Mitacs intern, I anchored a youth engagement initiative with Wahkohtowin's Guardians Program, while supporting knowledge mobilization and strategic advocacy. The internship built upon a prior multi-month workshop series, co-facilitated from December 2021 to May 2022, through which we engaged youth Guardians in dialogue and digital storytelling on natural climate solutions.

Supported student learning and graded discussion posts, essays, quizzes and a final exam for 60+ students per GTA assignment with efficiency, attention to detail, and strong self-initiative.

Supported the Hydro Empowerment Network (HPNET) in its mission to catalyze pico, micro and mini hydro practitioners towards equitable and sustainable community development. Responsibilities included managing HPNET’s internal and external communications, supporting knowledge exchange, strategic advocacy and network operations.

Supported the efforts of Energy Action Partners (ENACT) to improve access to sustainable energy through collaborative, community-centred programs. Helped anchor project development, management and implementation, stakeholder/community engagement and strategic planning.

Conducted a community social audit, researching and analyzing technology access among vulnerable groups, particularly women, in Malaysia. Additionally, supported grant report writing, financial tracking, communications and workshop coordination.
